you to the El Dorado United Soccer Club
and the El Dorado United Foundation Cup
for which we are seeking your support.
The El Dorado United Soccer Club is
comprised of over 300 team members
playing on 22 separate teams ranging in
age from 7 years old to 18 years old.
Most are from the Folsom/El Dorado Hills
area.
The El Dorado United Foundation Cup
will be held on May 21, 2010 at Empire
Ranch Golf Club and is made up of a golf
tournament during the day, followed by
an exciting Parent’s Night Out featuring
dinner, silent actions and live music.
ALL of the proceeds from the
El Dorado United Foundation Cup
will be applied towards our scholarship
program and field costs. We are very
proud of our Scholarship Program,
which allows kids the opportunity to
receive all of the benefits of playing
soccer at the highest level of
competition
regardless of any financial hardship.
Field costs are a challenge for any
soccer club and this event helps us to
secure playing fields for our kids to
practice and compete on.
Our club goals are as follows:
- Create a positive soccer
environment for players, coaches,
and parents.
- Develop soccer skills and
knowledge of the game.
- Build a foundation of
teamwork and confidence both on and
off the field.
- Create opportunities for all
kids to play regardless of financial
situation
- Foster an environment in
which players and team can rise to
their full potential.
We strongly believe that modeling
leadership and learning professional and
respectful conduct and teamwork is
essential to any child’s development and
future success. We are proud of our
success in helping to build a solid
foundation for our kids so that they are
confident and make good decisions on and
off the playing field.
